What is your return policy?

You are responsible for shipping us your returns within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with the tags still attached. Once we receive your return and verify the quality, we will process your refund to the payment method used in the original order. All promotional purchases are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchange.


Need to return or exchange within the US?

Enter the email address you used to place your order with above. You will receive an email shortly with a link to process your return. Select the items you’d like to return and select to exchange for another size or return for a refund. Exchanges will be dependent on stock availability. Please note that we can only offer exchanges for items of the exact same color and style. As soon as your request is submitted and approved, you’ll receive an email with further instructions on how to send in your return along with a shipping label. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to review and authorize your return/exchange request. 

Only send returns using our pre-paid return labels so we can track your stuff. We cannot refund a lost return that was sent using a method other than our return labels.

We deduct $7 to cover shipping and restocking costs from refunds. Refunds for store credit are free. To request a refund in store credit, please include a note in the comment box on your Estimated Refund Page.


Need to return or exchange outside the US?

We cannot offer exchanges for our international customers at this time. (Sorry.) However, you may return the items, postmarked within 30 calendar days of receipt, for your refund to be considered.

You are responsible for shipping us your returns at your own shipping cost using a carrier of your choice. Once we receive your return and verify the quality, we will process your refund to the payment method used on the original order. Please note that we cannot be responsible for any change in currency rates. Here’s how to send in your return:

  1. Include the packing slip that came with your package so we can
    easily find your order.
  2. Put what you don’t want (tags still on) along with the form in a box or
    envelope. The pink zipper pouch is yours to keep.
  3. Label and ship using a carrier of your choice.
  4. Ship to: Girlfriend Collective, c/o Returns, 1414 NE 42nd St Ste 400,
    Seattle, WA 98105.

 Since you will be liable for any lost or damaged packages we recommend using a carrier that provides tracking numbers. 

When will I get my refund?

Once we have received your items, please allow 5-7 business days to process your return and 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.


When will I receive my exchange order?

Your exchange order will arrive within our usual 7-14 business days, from the day your order is processed and shipped, depending on where you're located and on customs.

Need to return or exchange a gift?

We offer store credit for gift returns. Please email hello@girlfriend.com for further assistance on on gift returns.


What items are final sale?

All promotional purchases are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. (Sorry.)

Free leggings purchased through our Refer-A-Friend program are not eligible for return or exchange.


What if I used Afterpay?

Please email hello@girlfriend.com for Afterpay returns. Please note refunds on orders placed using Afterpay will first be refunded from Girlfriend Collective to Afterpay, and then to you. We cannot provide an exchange or store credit refund. Go to help.afterpay.com if you have more questions about Afterpay returns.


What is an "Instant Refund Credit"?

This is an instant voucher you may receive while you wait for your return to be processed. You can choose to spend it on something else (ooh, shopping), or wait for your return to be refunded to your original payment method.

If you haven’t used your credit by the time your returned items are checked in with us, we’ll send a refund back to your original payment method and deactivate the credit. If you already used some of your credit, you’ll be refunded the outstanding balance. Ooh.
